2025 Mahindra Bolero Neo Spied Testing; New Design Details Revealed

Launched in July 2021, the Mahindra Bolero Neo is all set to receive a mid-life facelift update in the coming days, and the recent spy shots reveal some interesting design details of the upcoming SUV.

2025 Mahindra Bolero Neo: What to Expect?

Exterior Design

Though the front facia was camouflaged, the revised design elements were visible. The most striking change is the new grille, which now carries horizontal bars running between the headlamps. In contrast, the ongoing model sports a honeycomb mesh pattern grille with vertical slats.

The front bumper design has also been updated, featuring a new air intake channel with horizontal slats as the grille. Surprisingly, the lighting setup remains unchanged.

What’s further unchanged are the side and rear profiles, which continue with the same 15-inch silver alloy wheels, a black strip that runs across the body, the same wraparound halogen tail lights and a boot-mounted spare wheel with cover, just like the current model.

Interior and New Features

While the interior of the updated Bolero Neo is yet to be seen, we expect it to be slightly updated with new features like a bigger touchscreen infotainment with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic AC, rear AC vents and standard six airbags.

Besides amenities like a height-adjustable driver’s seat, cruise control, an analogue instrument cluster with a coloured multi-information display (MID), steering-mounted audio & telephony controls, rear wiper & washer, rear defogger, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX anchors, and rear parking sensors will continue to be on offer.

Will There Be Any Mechanical Changes?

We do not expect any changes underneath the hood. The 2025 Mahindra Bolero Neo will retain the ongoing 1.5-litre diesel engine (100PS/260Nm) that powers the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Price and Competitors

The current version of the Mahindra Bolero Neo is priced from Rs 9.97 lakh to Rs 12.18 lakh (ex-showroom). Its updated iteration is also likely to be priced in the same ballpark. And like the ongoing model, it will continue to enjoy its solidity in the rugged sub-4m SUV segment.
