2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z Launched – Improved Performance, More Features

Bajaj Auto has updated the Pulsar NS400Z with enhanced performance and new features. It is now priced at Rs 1.92 lakh (ex-showroom), making it Rs 7000 more expensive than before.

2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z – What’s New?

With the recent update, Bajaj has addressed several of its previous shortcomings.

  • To start with, the 2025 Pulsar NS400Z now receives a bi-directional quick-shifter — a first for any Bajaj bike — which allows for smoother & faster gear shifting without the need to use the clutch lever.
  • Bajaj has also made some changes on the mechanical front. The engine’s redline has now gone up to 10,700 rpm, an increase of 1,000 revs.
  • With this, the engine now produces 3PS more power, delivering 43PS at 9500rpm. However, its peak torque remains unchanged at 35Nm; however, both peak power and torque now come in 500rpm later than before.
  • The Sport mode has also been retuned to provide a sharper throttle response than before.
  • Bajaj has also replaced the older bias-ply MRF tyres with Apollo Alpha H1 radial tyres, sized 110/70-ZR17 for the front and the fatter 150/60-ZR17 for the rear.
  • It also receives sintered front brake pads, replacing the previous organic units, for improved braking performance and better heat resistance.
