2024 Porsche Taycan Facelift Launched In India At Rs 1.89 Crore

The Porche Taycan has been in the news recently. Earlier, it made headlines due to the Pune accident case, and later for the global recall campaign. Now, it is in the headlines again as Porsche has launched its facelift version in India, starting at Rs 1.89 crore (ex-showroom).

Porsche Taycan Facelift Specifications

Based on the 800V architecture, the Porsche Taycan also supports fast charging of up to 320kW, which is 50kW higher than the outgoing model. Regarding performance, the Taycan Turbo model offers an impressive 0 to 100 km/h sprint time of just 2.7 seconds.

Styling Changes

The 2024 Porsche Taycan EV showcases a fresh, appealing look with a host of customization possibilities. Design enhancements feature: –

  • A redesigned front and rear, highlighting sleek, clean lines for a broader and more refined appearance.
  • High-definition LED headlights incorporating HD-Matrix Design and signature four-point elements, boosting both visibility and style.
  • A 3D Porsche logo integrated into the rear light strip, available with an illuminated option and dynamic welcome and departure animations.
  • A variety of new color choices to personalize your ride.

  • The cabin retains its layout but now features a new digital screen setup on the dashboard.
  • The signature three-spoke steering wheel now includes a control lever on the left for various ADAS features.
  • An upgraded user interface on the instrument cluster, central display, and optional passenger screen, now with additional functionalities.
  • The infotainment system and passenger display now offer video streaming capabilities.
  • Other notable features include a head-up display (HUD), a 4-zone climate control, a 14-way powered front seats with memory functions, ventilated seats, a heating function for all seats and steering wheel, ambient lighting, up to 14-speaker Bose sound system, wireless smartphone charger, six airbags, adaptive suspensions, and a full ADAS suite.
  • The Turbo model is also equipped with an active bonnet designed for pedestrian safety. This feature raises the rear portion of the bonnet upon detecting a crash through front sensors, thereby reducing impact.
