2024 Mercedes-Benz GLS Facelift Launched In India

Mercedes-Benz India has finally launched the 2024 GLS SUV at a starting price of Rs 1.32 crore (ex-showroom). It is available with both petrol and diesel engine options.

Being a facelift update, the 2024 GLS boasts some notable visual changes and feature enhancements. Let’s quickly delve into all the necessary details of the facelifted Mercedes-Benz GLS flagship SUV: –

  • Giant horizontal slat grill, along with a tweaked front bumper with revised air vents | new alloys | redesigned rear bumper and slightly tweaked LED tail lamp setup.
  • Dual integrated screen setup for infotainment and instrument cluster, running on Mercedes’ latest MBUX software | new steering wheel | new trims | refreshed upholstery | new graphics for off-road mode along with lateral inclination, compass and steering angle readouts.
  • Three interior colour options: black, beige and brown.

  • 5-zone climate control, a 13-speaker Burmester 3D sound system, an electronically adjustable steering rack, powered front seats with ventilation and heating, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, a powered tailgate, entertainment screens for the middle-row passengers along with a tablet to control them, a panoramic sunroof, and adjustable air suspensions.
  • The safety kit includes nine airbags, electronic stability control, a tyre pressure monitoring system, front & rear parking sensors, a 360-degree surround view system, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) with features like lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, collision avoidance, and auto emergency braking.
  • 5.2 metres long and 1.96 metres wide | 500mm water-wading capacity.
  • A 3-litre, 6-cylinder, petrol with mild-hybrid system (381PS/500Nm) | a 3-liitre, 6-cylinder, diesel with mild-hybrid system (367PS/700Nm) | 9-speed automatic gearbox | AWD setup.
