Maruti Suzuki has finally introduced the fourth-gen Swift with a factory-fitted CNG kit. The Swift CNG is available in three variants: VXi, VXi (O) and ZXi., which are priced at follows: –

2024 Maruti Swift CNG – Engine Specifications and Mileage
Powering the Maruti Swift CNG is the same 1.2-litre Z12E, 3-cylinder petrol engine as its regular version. However, it produces a slightly lower output of 69PS and 102Nm in CNG mode compared to the 82PS/112Nm in the petrol-only version. The brand has offered it only with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Its rival, the Tata Tiago CNG, also gets the option of an AMT transmission for added convenience.
Maruti Suzuki claims that the new Swift CNG can return a fuel efficiency (mileage) of 32.85 km/kg.

Features Onboard
Besides the mechanical updates, the Swift CNG remains unchanged in terms of features across its variants. Key highlights include projector headlamps, alloy wheels, front fog lamps, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment, automatic climate control with rear vents, a wireless phone charger, and connected car technology.
On the safety front, it comes equipped with six airbags (as standard), an electronic stability program (ESP), a hill-hold assist, a 3-point seatbelt for all, rear parking sensors and a reversing camera.
Competition Check
In the compact hatchback segment, the Maruti Swift CNG faces competition from the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios CNG and Tata Tiago CNG.
