2024 Kia Carnival Limousine Bookings Now Open; Launch On October 3

Kia India has commenced bookings for the new-gen Carnival Limousine ahead of its launch on October 3, 2024. Interested customers can make their bookings for Rs 2 lakh at Kia dealerships across India or through Kia’s website.

For those unaware, Kia will bring the facelifted fourth-generation Carnival to India. The brand has announced that the upcoming MPV will be loaded with cutting-edge features like powered 2nd-row seats with ventilation and leg support, one-touch smart power sliding doors, wide electric dual sunroof, BOSE sound system, dual panoramic curved displays for infotainment and driver’s display, and level-2 ADAS with 23 autonomous active safety features.

It is also expected to get an 11-inch heads-up display, wireless charger, 12-way powered driver’s seat with lumbar support, 8-way powered co-driver seat, three-zone climate control, powered tailgate, eight airbags, a 360-degree camera, TMPS and all-wheel disc brake.

Regarding design, the new Kia Carnival Limousine will boast a prominent chrome-studded grille up front, flanked by vertically stacked headlamps with connected LED DRLs, while the rear will sport connected LED tail lights setup.

Expected Powertrain Options

Globally, Kia offers the new-gen Carnival with three engine options: 1.6-litre petrol-hybrid, 2.2-litre diesel, and 3.5-litre petrol. However, its Indian-spec version is expected to be offered with only the 192PS/441Nm 2.2-litre diesel engine, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

Expected Price and Rivals

Kia is expected to price the new Carnival from around Rs 40 lakh (ex-showroom), placing it as a premium alternative to the Toyota Innova Hycross, Innova Crysta and Maruti Invicto.
