2024 Jeep Wrangler Facelift Launch On April 22, Details Revealed

Jeep India has revealed details on the India-spec Wrangler facelift ahead of its April 22, 2024 launch. The upgraded iteration of this legendary 4×4 SUV will flaunt slight styling changes and a few additional features over the current model. However, it won’t receive any powertrain changes in India.

2024 Jeep Wrangler – Exterior Design Changes

The refreshed Wrangler features a redesigned all-black grille, retaining its iconic seven-slat design but with a sleeker appearance than the previous model. The SUV will also receive new alloys, probably 17 inches for the Rubicon and 18 inches for the Unlimited variant. It will also come fitted with a Gorilla glass windshield as standard.

Globally, Jeep offers the Wrangler with multiple roof options, including a soft top, a body-coloured hardtop, a black hardtop, and a combination of hard and soft tops. However, its India-spec version is anticipated to be offered in just hardtop and softtop choices.

Powertrain

The facelifted Wrangler will be equipped with the same 2-litre turbocharged petrol engine as the ongoing model, which produces 270PS and 400Nm. It is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox and comes standard with Jeep’s Selec-Trac full-time 4WD system.

Globally, Jeep also offers the Wrangler with a hybrid powertrain. However, it is unlikely to make its way to the Indian market.
