Land Rover India has started accepting bookings for the 2022 Range Rover SV that brings exclusive design, craftsmanship, and material choices from the brand’s SVO (Special Vehicles Operations) division. It comes in both short-wheelbase and long-wheelbase body styles.
2022 Range Rover SV – What’s Special?
The SV model is a stunning interpretation of Range Rover opulence and personalization, embodying superior craftsmanship. It features a new front bumper and a 5-bar grille design that gives the flagship model a distinctive identity with the lower aperture featuring five precisely executed full-width metal-plated blades. It’s also the first vehicle to carry the new ceramic SV roundel. T
The 2022 Range Rover SV also gets 14 SV-specific shades and 12 different alloy wheels options, including the triple-finish 23-inch forged diamond-turned dark grey gloss alloys.
Additional design themes include SV Serenity and SV Intrepid, featuring two-tone front-to-rear polar interior colorways.
Materials for luxurious Range Rover SV design details comprise lustrous plated metals, smooth ceramics, intricate mosaic marquetry, as well as a choice of high-grade leathers or sustainable non-leather Ultra fabric.
The SV range is available with 13.1-inch rear-seat entertainment screens. Moreover, its LWB version also comes in a 4-seater configuration that features functional enhancements including an electrically deployable Club Table and refrigerator that can be operated from the rear seat touchscreen controller.
Powertrain
Under the hood, the Range Rover SV employs either a 350PS/700Nm 3.0-liter straight-six diesel with a mild-hybrid system or a new 53PS/750Nm 4.4-liter V8 twin-turbo petrol engine. There is also a new extended range 3.0-liter 6 cylinder Ingenium Petrol PLUG-IN HYBRID (PHEV) powertrain with a combined power output of 510PS. It is claimed to offer a real-world pure-electric driving range of up to 80km.
