2022 Maruti Vitara Brezza To Launch On June 30

  • New Generation Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza to launch on June 20, 2022.
  • Likely to share its features list with the recently updated Baleno.
  • Expected to be powered by Ertiga’s new 1.5-liter petrol mill.
  • Will get a new 6-speed automatic transmission.

It’s confirmed now! Maruti Suzuki will launch the new generation iteration of the Vitara Brezza on June 30, 2022. Bookings for the updated sub-4m SUV are already underway at select dealerships across the country.

While there’s still a month left in its official arrival, details about the new Vitara Brezza have already been revealed through countless leaked images. Starting with the design, the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza will flaunt an entirely overhauled styling, featuring radical design changes at the front, rear, and inside the cabin.

The new features should include redesigned alloy wheels, a free-standing 9-inch Smartplay Pro+ infotainment touchscreen, Arkamys tuned sound system, a heads-up display (HUD), ventilated front seats, a single-pane electric sunroof, paddle shifters, six airbags, and a 360-degree view camera. It will also receive plenty of new color options, including ‘Brave Khaki’ (dark green).

The new Vitara Brezza is expected to be powered by Ertiga’s new 1.5-litre K15C DualJet mild-hybrid petrol engine, paired to either a 5-speed manual or a new 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The SUV could also receive a CNG powertrain at a later stage.

Considering all the changes, the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza will bear a significant price premium over the existing model, which retails between Rs 7.84 – 11.49 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). In the Indian market, it will continue to lock horns with the Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Mahindra XUV300, Toyota Urban Cruiser, and the upcoming Hyundai Venue Facelift.
