2022 Hyundai Venue Facelift Revealed Through Official Sketches; Launch On June 16

Latest Update: 2022 Facelifted Hyundai Venue has finally been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 7.53 lakh. Click here for more details.

Hyundai Motors India has finally revealed the exterior design of the upcoming Venue facelift through official sketches. Unofficial bookings for the upgraded compact SUV are already underway and it will go on sale on June 16.

2022 Hyundai Venue – What’s New?

Exterior

In the official images, the facelifted Hyundai Venue looks bolder and sharper than its existing model. It features Hyundai’s Sensuous Sportiness design language, whilst preserving its boxy silhouette. It gets a new & wider dark chrome cascading grille with ‘Parametric Jewel’ pattern that seems inspired by the new-gen Tucson. There’s also the new front dual-tone bumper with faux skid plate and upgraded upper lighting elements.

Save for the new alloy wheels, the side profile remains largely unchanged. However, changes are more radical at the rear with new connected LED tail lamps and more upright & rugged-looking bumper. Click here for more details.

Interior

The interior of the car is yet to be revealed, but it is likely to get new upholstery and probably an updated center console. Features addition should include a bigger infotainment system, Bose sound system, front ventilated seats, and a digital instrument console.

Powertrain

The 2022 Hyundai Venue facelift is likely to carry forward all the three existing engine options: 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel engine. Currently, the NA gasoline mill gets a 5-speed manual transmission, whereas the oil burner comes mated to a 6-speed manual unit. The turbocharged mill, on the other hand, is offered with three transmission options: 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT, and 7-speed DCT. While it is not official, the brand could upgrade its diesel engine to deliver 115PS of maximum power, +15PS than the current model.

Expect more details about the new Hyundai Venue to reveal in near future.
