2021 Skoda Superb Launched, Price Starts From Rs 31.99 lakh

Skoda Auto India has launched the updated version of Superb flagship sedan in India. Price starts from Rs 31.99 for the base-spec Sportline variant and goes to Rs 34.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Laurin & Klement (L&K) trim. With this, the new Superb has become up to Rs 2 lakh dearer than the previous model. 

2021 Skoda Superb – What's New? 

The updated Skoda Superb gets a plethora of new features & cosmetic updates. For starters, the 2021 Skoda Superb gets a new & sleeker adaptive LED headlamp with integrated LED daytime running lamps (DRLs) which merges with the radiator grille. These headlamp units get dynamic headlamp inclination control which responds to any change in speed, light, and weather conditions. It also features headlamp swiveling & cornering functions. 

Moving to the cabin, it boasts an updated 8.0-inch Amundsen touchscreen infotainment system and comes with inbuilt navigation. It also gets wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, and a wireless charging pad.

Besides this, the Virtual Cockpit digital instrument cluster is now standard across the variant line-up. 

The L&K variants, on the other hand, also features a new 2-spoke steering wheel, a 360-degree camera, and a hands-free parking function.

2021 Skoda Superb – Engine 

Mechanically, no mechanical has been made. The updated Superb continues to use the same 190PS 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT).

Competitors

In the Indian market, the Skoda Superb continues to rival the Toyota Camry Hybrid, which is priced at Rs 39.41 lakh (ex-showroom).
