2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 – What do the new spy shots reveal?

The new spy shots suggest that the 2021 Classic 350 will continue to be available in two variants — Drum (single-channel ABS) and Disc (dual-channel ABS). Last time, we spotted the Classic 350 with a Tripper navigation pod — just like the Metro 350. However, in the latest spy images, the bike has a blanked-off pod with a Royal Enfield logo. This directs us to assume that the brand may limit the Tripper pod with select variants, or may offer it as an optional accessory under the Make It Yours programme. This will help the brand to keep the price in check.

The spy images also reveal two new body shades of the updated Classic 350. The one in Dark Teal (British Green) scheme features a brown coloured single-seat along with a rear disc brake and refreshed graphics on the fuel tank and bodyworks, including the pinstripes on the fenders.

The other one in glossy grey tone gets minimal graphics, blackened fenders, and a rear drum brake, indicating that it is a more affordable single-channel ABS variant. Besides, the seats of the new Classic 350 motorcycle also seems plusher and better contoured. Plus, the front disc is now on the right side.

2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 – Expected Powertrain & Underpinnings

The new-gen Classic 350 is expected to be based on the brand's new J-platform as the Meteor 350 and will be powered by the new 349cc single-cylinder counterbalanced engine, churning out 20.4PS and 27Nm, paired to a 5-speed gearbox. Also, the twin downtube spine frame of the 2021 Classic 350 roadster is said to provide improved ride quality with less vibration than the ongoing UCE (Unit Construction Engine) model.

2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 – Expected Launch & Pricing

The upgraded Classic 350 is likely to be launched in the next month. It will surely carry a significant premium over the current model (Rs 1.79 lakh to Rs 2.06 lakh) for all the aforementioned changes.
