2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 Deliveries Commence In India

Royal Enfield has recently launched the new-generation iteration of its highly popular Classic 350 motorcycle, with prices ranging from Rs 1.84 lakh to Rs 2.15 (ex-showroom). And now, the Chennai-based bikemaker has commenced its deliveries to customers across the country.

For those who aren't aware, the upgraded Royal Enfield retro roadster is available in two variants (Single Channel ABS and Dual-Channel ABS), spread across five different color series, namely Redditch, Halcyon, Signals, Dark, and Chrome Series. Compared to its predecessor, it has undergone subtle design, features, and mechanical changes.

For starters, the new-generation Classic 350 has discarded the old platform for the new ‘J’ architecture. It also gets new clear lens halogen headlamps, slightly refreshed taillamps & indicators, upgraded switchgear, wider tires, new suspension & braking setup, and a semi-digital instrument cluster for the first time with Bluetooth connectivity for the new Tripper Navigation Display. It comes with a 3-years / 30,000km of the standard warranty package, along with one-year roadside assistance. Head here for more details.

Powering the 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 is a new 349cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected, counterbalanced engine that generates 20.2PS at 6100rpm and 27Nm at 4000rpm. The same engine also does duty for the RE Meteor 350. It is claimed to have better torque mapping and reduce vibrations than the older 346cc Unit Construction Engine (UCE).

With the generation shift, the new Classic 350 has emerged as a more strong contender against the Honda H'Ness CB350, Benelli Imperiale 400, and Jawa.
