2021 Hero Xpulse 200T Launched In India

Hero MotoCorp has silently launched the BS6 version of road-focused Xpulse 200T at an asking price of Rs 1,12,800 (ex-showroom, Delhi). At this price point, it is Rs 2430 cheaper than the off-roading biased XPulse 200 (Rs 1,15,230).

The 2021 Hero XPulse 200T is powered by the same BS6-compliant 199.6cc, fuel-injected, air & oil-cooled engine that comes with XSens technology. This greener SI mill makes 18.1PS at 8500rpm and 16.15Nm at 6500rpm. That's a drop of 0.3PS and 0.95Nm over the BS4 variant. It continues to use a 5-speed gearbox. The same engine also powers the XPulse 200. However, in its off-roading avatar, the engine generates 0.30Nm more torque.

Apart from making the engine more environmental friendly, the motorcycle remains unchanged. It continues to comes with the same bodyworks as the XPulse 200 except for a windshield, different set of graphics, knobby tires, and off-roading biased exhaust & fenders. Instead, the XPulse 200T features radial tires and a conventional exhaust system & fender. Key features of the bike include a full-LED headlamp & tail lamp, kick & electric start, and a fully digital instrument cluster that features a digital gear indicator, digital tachometer, side stand indicator, clock, and Bluetooth Connectivity function that enables you to connected your smartphone to the bike using a dedicated mobile application and access features like call alerts and turn-by-turn navigation that will lead you to your destination.

The XPulse 200T continues to be based on a diamond frame, which is suspended on 37mm telescopic front forks and a rear 7-step adjustable monoshock. The XPulse 200T comes to a halt using a 276mm front petal disc with a single-channel Antilock Braking System (ABS) and a 220mm petal rear disc. It rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels on both ends that come wrapped in MRF street tubeless tires of 90/90-21 & 120/80-18 section profile. The other specifications of the motorcycle are as follows: –

2021 Hero Xpulse 200T

The BS6 Hero XPulse 200T comes in three colors option – Sports Red, Panther Black, and Matte Shield Gold. In the Indian market, it doesn’t have any direct rival. However, Bajaj Avenger Street 160 could be considered its affordable alternative.
