2020 TVS Scooty Zest 110 BS6: Five Thing To Know About

Recently, TVS has updated the Scooty Zest 110 on BS6 emission norms. The Scooty Zest and Pep+ are the scooters that have always been centered for women riders. Here are the five things that we must know about the 2020 TVS Scooty Zest 110:-

1. Engine

The most prominent update is on the engine front. The updated Scooty Zest gets the 110cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with Ecothrust Fuel injection (ET-Fi) technology. This motor produces 7.81PS of max power (1PS less than the BS4 model) and 8.8Nm of peak torque (4Nm more than the BS6 model). The petrol mill continues to transfer power through the means of CVT ( continuously variable transmission). 

2. Design, Features & Underpinnings 

The design and features list of the TVS Zest 110 hasn't changed. The scooter continues to sport dual-tone seat cover, textured floor board, boomerang styled LED tail lamps, halogen headlamps, LED daytime running light, 19L under seat storage with light & USB charger etc.

As far as the underpinnings are concerned, it gets the telescopic fork at front, a single shock absorber at the rear and 10-inch steel wheels with 90-section tubeless tyres on both ends. The braking system are also remains unchanged 110mm front and 130mm rear with CBS. 

3. Variants & Price

The BS6 Zest 110 comes in two variants:  Matte Series and the Himalayan Highs Series. Its prices start from Rs 58,460 (ex-showroom, Chennai) for Himalayan Highs Series, which makes it approximately Rs 7,000 more expensive than its BS4 model.

4. Color Options

The standard variant of BS6 TVS Scooty Zest 110 is offered in 5 colors which include Matte Yellow, Matte Red, Matte Purple, Matte Blue, and Matte Black. The Himalayan Highs variant is available only in one Turquoise Blue color. 

5. Rivals

In Indian market, this offering from TVS competes against the Honda Activa 6G and Hero Pleasure Plus. It is important to note that the Zest 110 is the lightest scooter in its segment, which helps it to accelerate from 0-60 kmph in just 11.1 seconds.
