14,000 Mahindra XUV700 Delivered So Far; Waiting Period Stretches To 19 Months

  • Has two engine on offers: 200PS 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 185PS 2.2-litre diesel.
  • Priced from Rs 12.95 lakh to Rs 23.80 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Keeping up with its promise, Mahindra has handed over 14,000 units of XUV700 to customers since its deliveries began on October 30, 2021. This has been accomplished despite production disruptions due to the ongoing semiconductor crisis.

For those who aren’t aware, the cumulative bookings for the XUV700 have crossed the 1 lakh mark. In fact, the first 50,000 units were booked in just two days in a row between 7th and 8th October 2021, with 25000 bookings on each day. Currently, the SUV is commanding a waiting period of around 19 months, depending on the variant.

Mahindra offers the XUV700 in four broad trims (MX, AX3, AX5, and AX7) across two seating configurations (5-and 7-seater) and two engine options (2L petrol and 2.2L diesel). The petrol engine produces 200PS of max power and 380Nm of torque, while the diesel engine comes in three states of tune – 155PS/360Nm for MX trim, 185PS/420Nm for AdrenoX AX manual trim, and 185PS/450NM with AX automatic variants. The oil burner also gets 4 driving modes – Zip, Zap, Zoom, and Custom.

Mahindra retails the XUV700 from Rs 12.95 lakh and Rs 23.80 lakh (ex-showroom). It will soon get a new 6-seater variant with captain seats in the second row.
