It will also get two interior color choices – Black/Saiga Beige and Black/Okapi Brown.
Powering the facelifted Audi Q7 will be a more powerful 3.0-litre six-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine (with a 48V mild-hybrid system), replacing the older 45 TFSI 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbo-petrol unit (251PS/370Nm). Mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and Quattro all-wheel drivetrain (AWD), the new mill churns out 340PS and 500Nm.
Unlike its pre-facelift model which was discontinued during the BS6 transition phase, the new Audi Q7 will not get the 45 TDI 3.0-litre diesel engine (248PS/600Nm) option.
Expect Audi to launch the Q7 facelift in January 2022, with prices likely to start from around Rs 80 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, the 7-seater SUV will go up against the Mercedes-Benz GLE, BMW X5, and Volvo XC90.
