Toyota is gearing up to launch the facelift version of Innova Crysta in Indonesia, India, and other markets. It was unveiled a few days ago in Indonesia. And now, the MPV has been awarded 5-star safety rating in the ASEAN NCAP crash test ahead of its launch.
Toyota Innova Crysta Facelift – Crash Test Results
The new Innova Crysta has received 33.05 points out of 36 for Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) which further converts into a weighted score of 45.90. On the other hand, the MPV scored 21.51 points in the Child Occupant Protection (COP) tests and 15.28 points in Safety Assist Technologies (SATs) tests, giving a total score of 82.69 points.
This rating is valid for countries like Indonesia, Vietnam, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar. In these markets, Innova comes with dual-front airbags, driver knee airbag, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC), front seat belts with pre-tensioner and force limiter as standard. However, the Cambodia, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Laos sped Innova get 7 airbags whereas the Indonesia version only gets this in higher variants.
