Owing to the rising input costs, Toyota Kirloskar Motors has hiked the prices of Glanza premium hatchback and Urban Cruiser sub-4m SUV by up to Rs 22,000. The prices of the remaining Toyota cars, save for the newly launched Hilux pickup truck and Vellfire MPV, were revised last month.

The margin of the price hike for the Toyota Glanza ranges from Rs 14,000 to Rs 22,000, depending on the variant. With this, the introductory prices of Toyota Glanza have come to an end. It now costs Rs 6.53 lakh to Rs 9.91 lakh (ex-showroom).

The prices of the Toyota Urban Cruiser have been inflamed by Rs 15,000 for all variants except for the Premium (manual) trim. So if you’re eyeing this sub-4m SUV, get ready to shell out between Rs 9.03 lakh to Rs 11.73 lakh (ex-showroom).
In the other news, the Urban Cruiser has also recently secured a 4-star safety rating in Global NCAP’s crash test. The brand will also give it a generation update in the coming months.
