Mahindra’s highly popular mid-size SUV, the XUV700, has undergone a huge price hike of up to Rs 78,000. This is the second time when the prices of XUV700 have been revised in 2022. Here’s take a look at its updated variant-wise asking rates: –

The price hike for XUV700’s petrol variants ranges from Rs 22,000 to Rs 71,000, depending on the variant. The AX7 Luxury Trim is the most affected by the price hike, followed by AX7 AT, AX7 MT, and AX5 trims.

Talking about the diesel variants, they are now expensive by up to Rs 78,000. With this, the XUV700 diesel now ranges between Rs 13.70 lakh to Rs 24.58 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Aside from the price hike, the Mahindra XUV700 remains unchanged. To jog your memory, the XUV700 comes with two engine options: 2.0-liter turbo-petrol (200PS/380Nm) and 2.2-liter diesel (up to 185PS/450Nm), paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission, driving the front wheels of the car. Mahindra also offers select diesel variants with an all-wheel-drivetrain (AWD) option.
Since the Mahindra XUV700 comes in both 5-and 7-seater configurations, it has a long list of competitors such as Hyundai Creta & Alcazar, MG Hector & Hector Plus, Tata Harrier & Safari, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, and Volkswagen Tiguan.
