The new Scorpio will be the first to be launched by early 2022 (likely in February). – The 5-door Mahindra Thar is expected to arrive in 2023 and will rival the Maruti Suzuki Jimny that will also come in a longer-wheelbase (LWB) 5-door avatar. Compared to the ongoing model, the 5-door Thar will be more practical, and it could be offered with the same engine options as the standard model, albeit in a higher state of tune.
– Details about the next-generation Bolero and XUV300 are scarce at the moment. They are expected to be launched between 2023 and 2027.
– Besides the next-gen XUV300, Mahindra will also introduce three new monocoque SUVs by 2027. The XUV700 will be the first to hit the showroom among all. It will replace the ongoing XUV500 for a temporary period.
– The codename V201 is possibly donating to the new XUV500 that will return in a new 5-seater avatar to rival the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.
– The W620, on the other hand, is expected to be called XUV900, which is likely to be based on the Mahindra XUV Aero concept.
– All these monocoque SUVs will be powered by internal combustion engines. But they could also be offered with an electric powertrain as well.
– Lastly, Mahindra will also introduce two new dedicated battery electric vehicles (BEVs) between 2025 to 2026. These BEVs will be based on an all-new dedicated EV platform.
