Hyundai is all set to launch the Alcazar on 18th June 2021. So, while there are still some days left in its launch, a brochure has been leaked online revealing more details about the upcoming mid-sized 7-seater SUV.

While we already know much about Alcazar SUV, the brochure also revealed some new details. Earlier it was assumed that Hyundai would offer a 360-degree camera with the Alcazar, but the brochure disclosed that it would only get a Blind View Monitor (BVM) system. For those who aren't aware, the BVM is a safety feature wherein a camera placed on the outer rearview mirror (ORVM) displays footage on the infotainment/ driver's screen. We have already seen this feature in Kia Seltos and Honda City.
The Alcazar will also receive an advanced BlueLink connected car technology that supports OTA map updates. Although Hyundai hasn't confirmed yet, the 5-seater Creta could also get the OTA map support along with few additional features in the coming days. Click here for details.
The other notable features of the Alcazar includes a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, a 10.25-inch digital driver's display, 8-speakers Bose premium sound system, auto Air Purifier with AQI display, ventilated front seats, 8-way power-adjustable driver seat, wireless charging (in both 1st & 2nd row), automatic climate control with rear AC vents, voice-enabled smart panoramic sunroof, 64-colour ambient lighting, 2nd-row one-touch tip & tumble seats (in 6-seater variant), puddle lamps with logo projection, front seatback table with retractable cup-holder & tablet holder, multiple driving modes (comfort, eco, sport), traction control modes (snow, sand, mud), multiple airbags, ESC, and many more.
We already know the Alcazar will be offered with a 2.0-litre petrol (159PS/192Nm) and 1.5-litre diesel (115PS/250Nm) engines along with both 6-speed manual & torque converter automatic transmission options, now the leaked images exposed their fuel efficiency figures which are as follows: –

Hyundai will launch the Alcazar in six variants: Signature, Signature (O), Prestige, Prestige (O), Platinum, and Platinum (O). They are expected to be priced in the range of Rs 12 lakh to Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, it will be positioned against the likes of the Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV500, MG Hector Plus, and the upcoming Mahindra XUV700.
