Bookings For Toyota Fortuner 4×4 Diesel Temporarily Stopped

After the Innova Crysta Diesel, bookings for Toyota Fortuner 4×4 Diesel variants have also been stopped. While the reason is yet to be revealed, it may be due to the high demand. However, customers can still place orders for the Fortuner Diesel 4×2 and petrol variants.

For those who aren’t aware, Toyota offers the Fortuner full-size SUV with two engine options: a 2.7-litre petrol (166PS/245Nm) and a 2.8-liter turbo-diesel engine (204PS/500Nm). Transmission duties are taken care of by either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission option, coupled with a rear-wheel drivetrain (RWD) as standard. Select diesel variants of the SUV also come with a 4×4 drivetrain option.

We expect Toyota to resume bookings for the Fortuner diesel 4×4 in the near future.

In other news, Toyota is likely to introduce an all-new Innova Hycross MPV around the upcoming festive season that will probably be sold alongside the ongoing Toyota Innova Crysta. It is expected to be powered by a self-charging strong hybrid powertrain like the Toyota Hyryder. Click here for more details.
