2024 Kia Sonet Facelift To Be Launched On This Date

Kia India has recently taken the wraps off the Sonet facelift in India, revealing almost every detail about the upgraded SUV, save for the prices. The Korean marque has now confirmed that the Sonet facelift will go on sale on January 12, 2024. Bookings for this sub-4m offering are already underway.

Here’s a quick recap of the 2024 Kia Sonet: –

  • Refresh Exterior: The Sonet has undergone some notable design improvements, comprising a redone grille, sharper LED headlamps with fang-shaped LED DRLs, sleek LED fog lamps, restyled bumpers at both ends along with chunky skid plates, and restyled connected LED taillight setup. Additionally, the carmaker has also introduced a new Pewter Olive exterior body shade from the Kia Seltos.

  • Interior Changes: Kia has updated the cabin with some minor changes, including a revised climate control panel, refreshed upholstery, and redesigned housing for infotainment and instrument cluster.
  • Key Features Addition: The facelifted Sonet receive an even longer set of features, inclusive of a new 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster, a 4-way powered driver’s seat, a 360-degree surround view system with blind-view monitor, standard 6-airbags, and camera-based Level-1 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
  • Powertrain: Underneath the hood, the Kia Sonet continue to get all three engine options as its outgoing model. However, its diesel version can now be had with a conventional 6-speed manual gearbox.
