2024 Honda CB300R Launched With A Huge Price Cut

Honda Motorcycles & Scooters India has finally launched the BS6 OBD2-compliant 2024 CB300R at a very attractive price tag of Rs 2.40 lakh (ex-showroom), making it Rs 37,000 cheaper than before. Interested customers can now make their bookings at Honda’s BigWing dealerships.

2024 Honda CB300R Price Comparison

Compared to its key rivals, the Honda CB300R has become much more affordable. In fact, it undercuts the recently launched Apache RTR 310 by a considerable margin of Rs 20,000 and Rs 50,000 from BMW G 310 R, making it a desirable option among its rivals.

Engine Specifications

  • Powering the Honda CB300R is the same 286cc, DOHC, 4-valve, single-cylinder liquid-cooled mill that makes a maximum grunt of 31.1PS at 9,000rpm and a peak torque of 27.5Nm at 7500rpm.
  • It comes mated to a 6-speed transmission with an assist & slipper clutch, making the clutch operation lighter and decreasing unwanted shocks caused by sudden engine braking during downshifts. 

Underpinnings and Features

  • Speaking of the underpinnings, the 2024 Honda CB300R continue to get 41mm golden-finished Showa inverted forks (USD) upfront, teamed up with a link-type rear monoshock setup.
  • For braking duties, the bike gets a 296mm front and 220mm rear disc setup, assisted by dual-channel Antilock Braking System (ABS).
  • The bike tips the weight scale at 146kg.
  • The other notable features of the bike include an all-LED lighting system, a fully digital instrument cluster, hazard lamps, and an emergency stop signal.

Colour Options

Honda offers the CB300R in two vibrant hues: PEARL SPARTAN RED and MATTE MASSIVE GREY.
