The fourth-generation Skoda Fabia hatchback has been finally unveiled globally. Compared to its predecessor, the new Fabia is much bigger, more tech-loaded, and packs new powertrain options. Here're the five things that you should know about the 2021 Skoda Fabia hot-hatch: –
1. 2021 Skoda Fabia – New Design
The new Skoda Fabia looks quite sharp and refreshed than the previous model. Its design is in line with the other Skoda cars, featuring a larger signature butterfly grille with chrome outline, and sharper LED headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lamps. The restyled bumpers with shape creases look aggressive, while the large air vents and blacked-out finishing around the fog lamps give it a rugged appearance. Further, the uniquely styled alloy wheels and fine creases & character lines add to the car’s sportiness. Interestingly, the alloy sizes ranging from 14-18-inches, depending on the variant. At the rear, the refreshed C-shaped angular LED tail lamps and chrome finished SKODA lettering at the center top off the overall design.
With all these changes the new Fabia has also become a lot more aerodynamic with a reduced drag coefficient of 0.28 as opposed to the earlier 0.32.

5. Will Skoda launch it in India?
The Czech automaker is yet to make any announcement regarding its India launch. However, Volkswagen is striving to launch the upgraded Polo hatchback in the Indian market by 2023. Also, it is based on the MQB-A0 platform, which the brand has localised for our country and the upcoming Skoda Kushaq and VW Taigun will also be underpinned on this platform. So, the Skoda could consider the Fabia for our country but not anytime soon for sure.
