Citroen has commenced official bookings for its upcoming C3 cross-hatchback, with prices to be announced on July 20. It will be the brand’s first mass-market offering in India.

For those who aren’t aware, Citroen will offer the C3 in two variants: Live and Feel. It comes loaded with a decent set of features such as a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a mobile clamp, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto support, a manual AC system, steering-mounted controls, a digitised instrument cluster, and much more. Thanks to its raised proportions and black cladding all around, the Citroen C3 looks like a small SUV; however, Citroen calls it a hatchback. The brand offers it in 10 exciting hues, along with four customization packages.

In terms of mechanical, the Citroen C3 will be available with two 1.2-liter petrol engine options: a 82PS naturally aspirated and a 110PS turbocharged unit. While the former is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox, the latter gets a 6-speed unit. An automatic is expected to be offered at a later stage.

We expect Citroen to price the C3 from around Rs 4.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
