Yezdi Motorcycles To Make An Official Comeback On January 13

Soon after reviving the BSA Motorcycles, the Mahindra-owned Classic Legends is now going to re-introduce the iconic Yezdi brand on January 13, 2022, possibly with the unveiling of a scrambler and an adventure motorcycle.

The upcoming Yezdi scramble could be named Roadking and will boast a retro-styling. Revealed by the previous spy shots, it will get a round headlamp, ribbed-style single-piece seat, knuckle guards, an old-school twin exhaust setup with short tailpipes & canister, and a rear tire hugger that will also house the number plate. It is likely to share the suspension setup, braking system, and other parts with Jawa motorcycles. When launched, it will go up against the Honda CB350RS and Royal Enfield Meteor 350.

The Yezdi adventure, on the other hand, is expected to look quite similar to the Royal Enfield Himalayan. It will feature a round headlamp, a digital instrument cluster, knuckle guards, a tall windscreen, tank braces, and blacked-out side panels & engine. It is expected to use wired-spoke wheels wrapped in dual-purpose tyres.

Both these upcoming Yezdi motorcycles are likely to be powered by a 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine from the Jawa Perak that makes out 30PS and 33Nm, and comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox via a slip-&-assist clutch.
