  • The prices of the Yamaha FZ range have been increased uniformly across all color options.
  • Yamaha hasn't made any efforts to defend the price hike. For this asking price, you will continue to get features like an LED headlamp, single-channel ABS, an under cowl, a side-stand engine cut-off switch, and a digital instrument cluster that has recently received Bluetooth-enabled smartphone connectivity function as a standard feature.
  • It is powered by a 149cc air-cooled fuel-injected (Fi) engine that makes 12.4PS and 13.6Nm.

  • This is the second price hike for R15 within one month. However, Yamaha has dropped the recently introduced Red color model from the price hike move.
  • Like the FZ range, there are no mechanical or features changes to justify the price hike move. Some notable features of the bike include a twin LED headlamp and tail lamp, dual horn, a side stand engine cut-off switch, and a multi-function full-LCD instrument cluster with gear position indicator, fuel consumption indicator, and shift timing light.
  • Powering the bike is a 155cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled motor with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) that makes out class-leading 18.6PS of power at 10,000rpm and 14.1Nm of torque at 8,500rpm. It comes with a 6-speed gearbox with an assist & slipper (A&S) clutch.
