Known for its punchy performance, sharp handling and driver-focused design, the Golf GTI is one of the most celebrated performance cars in the world. Paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, the VW Golf GT transmits power to the front wheels.

Feature kit includes a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a floating Discover Media infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 480-watt 10 speaker Harman Kardon sound system, powered front seats with heating functions, three-zone automatic climate control, push-button start/stop, wireless charger, panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, a heads-up display, six airbags, and Volkswagen’s IQ.DRIVE technology includes advanced active safety technologies like adaptive cruise control, front assist, travel assist, side assist, and more.

Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line India launch details

The Tiguan R-Line is a sportier version of the new-gen Tiguan SUV. It features cosmetic upgrades, a refreshed body style, and a new interior theme. Under the hood, it retains the 2-litre turbo-petrol mill, producing 265PS, paired with a 7-speed DSG gearbox and an all-wheel-drive (AWD) option. The international version is also available with multiple other powertrain options, including a plug-in hybrid and diesel mill. However, these are unlikely to make it to the Indian market.

Currently, the VW Tiguan is priced at Rs 38.17 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. Expect the upcoming Tiguan R-Line to carry a significant premium over the existing model.
