VinFast Commences Construction of Integrated Electric Vehicle Facility in India

VinFast breaks ground on its first EV manufacturing plant in Tamil Nadu, India. Spanning 400 acres with an initial investment of $500 million, the plant aims for an annual capacity of 150,000 vehicles and will create 3,000-3,500 local jobs. The company also aims to advance localization efforts, bolstering local economic development.

Aside from building manufacturing facilities, VinFast intends to set up dealerships across the country to establish a strong brand presence and reach customers quickly. VinFast intends to offer premium-quality products, competitive pricing, and excellent after-sales service in India, aiming to make electric mobility widely available and strengthen the strategic partnership between Vietnam and India.
