Upcoming Honda Bikes In India In 2024

The excitement is building as we gear up for a thrilling start to 2024, with many anticipated Honda launches on the horizon. Here’s a list of all Honda bikes and scooters that are expected to hit the market this year.

Honda Activa Electric

Honda is expected to launch its first electric scooter in India this year, anticipated to be named Honda Activa Electric. It will underpin a heavily localised, dedicated EV platform called ‘Platform-E’. It is expected to be positioned as a mid-range offering with a fixed-type battery pack. Reports suggest that Activa Electric will be equipped with a swingarm-mounted motor, similar to the Hero Vida V1.

Honda NX500

Honda NX500 India launch

Honda is likely to launch the NX500 adventure motorcycle in India in the first half of 2024. It boasts a tough off-road silhouette with a modern off-road-inspired design. Powering the NX500 is a 471cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that makes 47PS & 43Nm and comes mated to a 6-speed transmission with assist-&-slipper clutch.

Regarding features, this middle-weight ADV comes loaded with an LED lighting system, tall windscreen, USD forks, a 5-inch cloured TFT display with smartphone connectivity of Honda RoadSync, and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), among others. Expect Honda to price the NX500 in India at around Rs 6.5 lakh (ex-showroom).

Honda CB350-based Cruiser 

Honda Motorcycles has three distinct offerings in the 350cc neo-retro category, comparing a classic neo-retro H’Ness CB350, a scrambler-styled CB350RS and the newly launched retro roadster, the CB350. Now, the bikemaker is poised to introduce a new cruiser motorcycle, based on the CB350 platform, which will rival the Royal Enfield Meteor 350.

Upgraded Honda CB650R and CBR650R

Honda has recently unveiled the upgraded versions of the CB650R and CBR650R at the EICMA, showcasing notable design changes and new features. This includes the incorporation of e-clutch technology, utilising two electric motors linked to an Electronic Control Unit (ECU) to facilitate the clutch operations and make them smoother & easier.
