Design and Features

The TVS Ronin is indeed a more youth-oriented model that comes dressed in striking dual-tone livery and features a contemporary scrambler-like design. Aesthetically, it gets a round LED headlamp upfront with an integrated T-shaped LED DRL, a tear dropped shaped fuel tank, a single-piece seat, a raised & wide handlebar (good for long rides), blacked-out powertrain & exhaust pipe, and 17-inch wheels wrapped in blocked-pattern rubbers.

The Ronin also features a USB charger and a single-pod instrument console that further gets smartphone connectivity support, notification alert, tour mode, ride mode, voice & ride assist, and turn-by-turn navigation.

Taking care of the braking and handling are disc brakes at both ends with a single/dual-channel Antilock Braking System. The suspension duty is taken up by a 41mm Showa USD fork and preload-adjustable rear mono-shock. The bike tips the scales at 160kg.

What powers the TVS Ronin?

The TVS Ronin sources its power from a 225.9cc single-cylinder engine that churns out a maximum power of 20PS at 7750rpm along with a peak torque of 19.93Nm at rpm. It is claimed to provide excellent low and mid-range torque. The power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission along with an assist & slipper clutch. To further enhance the riding experience, TVS has offered the bike with the segment’s first Silent Start System, TVS’s Glide Through Technology (GTT), and two ABS riding modes: Urban and Rain.

The Ronin has a top speed of 120km/h.

Color Options

TVS Ronin comes in 6 color options – Galactic Grey, Dawn Orange, Delta Blue, Stangnze Black, Magma Red and Lighting Black.

Competitors

In the Indian market, the Ronin can be seen as an affordable alternative to the Husqvarna Svartpilen 250, Honda CB350RS, and the Royal Enfield Himalayan Scram.
