TVS iQube Launched With A 3.1 kWh Battery At Rs 1.10 Lakh

  • It is Rs 9,376 more expensive than the base variant with a 2.2kWh battery.
  • With its launch, the iQube family now comprises six variants.
  • It has a 121km IDC range and an 82 km/h top speed.

TVS has expanded its iQube electric scooter lineup with the introduction of a new variant with a 3.1 kWh battery, priced at Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom Bengaluru). At this price point, it is Rs 13,383 cheaper than the 3.5 kWh variant.

The iQube 3.1 is powered by a 3.1 kWh battery pack that provides a claimed IDC range of 121 km on a single charge and a top speed of 82 kmph. It takes roughly 4 hours and 30 minutes to charge from 0 to 80%.

The rest of the mechanics and features stay the same. Having said that, it gets the same Bosch-sourced hub-mounted motor as the variants, which delivers 3kW of nominal and 4.4kW of peak power. The styling of this new variant is also the same as other iQube models, featuring a conventional scooter design with clean and simple lines. It comes in five colour options: White, Grey, Brown, Blue-Beige and Brown-Beige.

Regarding features, the TVS iQube 3.1 comes loaded with a pillion backrest, dual-tone brown & beige seat, LED lighting, a full coloured 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation assist, ride statistics, geo-fencing, live vehicle tracking, parking assist, anti-theft system and much more.

The TVS iQube 3.1kWh rivals the Bajaj Chetak 3001, Ola S1 X+, Honda Activa e:, Ather Rizta, and the newly launched Vida VX2.
