TVS iQube Electric Scooter Now Available In Pune

TVS Motors has finally launched the iQube electric scooter in Pune (Maharashtra) at an on-road price of Rs 1,10,898 (inclusive of Fame 2 and Maharashtra state subsidy). At this price, the iQube is approximately Rs 10,000 more expensive in Pune than the national capital, where it costs Rs 1,00,777 (on-road). However, it undercuts its core rivals, Bajaj Chetak, Ather 450 Plus, and 450X, by over Rs 30,000, giving it an upper hand in terms of pricing.

Interested customers can book the TVS iQube for a token amount of Rs 5,000 via the brand's official website. As of now, the scooter will only be available only at select dealerships in Pune. The brand has also installed four charging stations across the city, with more to come in the future.

The top speed is limited to 40kmph in Eco mode, whereas the Sport mode permits you to enjoy its full potential. In the Sport mode, it can sprint from 0 to 40kmph in just 4.2 seconds before reaching a claimed top speed of 78kmph.

The TVS iQube can be fully charged in 5 hours using a SmartXHome wall charger.

The electric scooter comes equipped with many modern-day features like an all-LED lighting system, an illuminating logo, under-seat light with a USB charging socket, multiple riding modes, a regenerative braking system, etc. But the icing on the cake is its advanced digital TFT instrument cluster that comes with a Bluetooth-based TVS SmartXonnect system. This lets you access various features such as turn-by-turn navigation, geofencing, incoming call alerts/SMS alerts, last park location, ride statics, remote battery charge status, and more.
