Toyota Innova Hycross Scores Full 5 Stars In Bharat NCAP

Toyota Innova Hycross has been crash tested by Bharat NCAP, and it has secured a full 5-star safety rating in both adult occupant and child occupant protection. The rating applies to all the variants of the MPV.

  • Frontal Offset Deformable Barrier Test (FODB): In this test, the Hycross scored 14.47 points out of 16, providing strong protection to the driver’s and front passenger’s head, chest, and knees. The cabin remained stable during the impact.
  • Side Movable Deformable Barrier Test (SMDB): The Innova Hycross offered maximum protection in the side impact test, scoring 16 out of 16, showing no signs of structural weakness or intrusion into the passenger compartment.
  • Child Occupant Protection (COP): – The Innova Hycross received 24/24 points in the dynamic tests, 12/12 in CRS installation, and 9/13 in vehicle assessment, bringing its total COP score to 45/49 — among the highest in its class.
