Recently, some images of Toyota Innova Crysta with some minor design updates have been leaked online. These pictures clearly indicate that the Japanese maker is about to introduce the facelift version of the Innova Crysta. This will be the first significant update to the MPV since 2016 when Crysta was launched first.
The leaked images revealed the updated front fascia of the MPV. The grille seems slightly larger than the outgoing model and has a thick chrome outline instead of two chunky chrome slates. The design of the bumper is more aggressive and complicated with repositioned DRLs and fog lamp housing.
The updated MPV also gets a new alloy wheel design. There is no distinguishable difference to the rear of the 2021 Innova Crysta.
We expect that Toyota may incorporate some new features in the refreshed version of Innova Crysta.

The updated Innova is unlikely to get any mechanical changes. Currently, it is available with an option of 2.7-litre petrol and 2.4-litre diesel engine. Both engines can be had with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
The Innova Crysta facelift is supposed to be launched in Indonesia first. In India, Toyota will first introduce the facelift version of the Fortuner SUV, only then the new Innova will be launched. Therefore, we expect the 2021 Innova Crysta will begin its journey in our country sometime next year.
Currently, the Toyota MPV is priced from Rs 15.66 to Rs 24.67 Lakh. With the update, it is expected to carry a premium over its current price.
