Toyota Innova Crysta Gets New GX+ Variant At Rs 21.39 Lakh

Shortly after introducing the new GX(O) variant for the Innova Hycross, Toyota has now launched a new mid-spec GX+ trim for the more rugged Innova Crysta. It has been positioned between the GX and VX variants in the Innova Crysta’s lineup.

As mentioned above, the new Innova Crysta GX+ variant costs up to Rs 1.45 lakh more than the base-spec GX variant. For these added bucks, the new GX+ trim gets 14 additional features over the GX trim. Some of them include a rear camera, auto-fold mirrors, and a DVR, as well as aesthetic enhancements like diamond-cut alloys, wooden panels, and premium fabric seats.

Other notable features of this variant include touchscreen infotainment with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, three airbags including a driver-side knee airbag, vehicle stability control, hill assist, brake assist and much more.

Toyota has offered the Innova Crysta GX+ variant in five colour options: Super White, Attitude Black Mica, Avant-Garde Bronze Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, and Silver Metallic.

Innova Crysta Specifications

Powering the Innova Crysta is a 2.4-litre diesel engine that produces 150PS of max power and 343Nm of peak torque. Paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox, it gets two driving modes: Eco and Power.

In the Indian market, the Innova Crysta serves as a premium alternative to the Mahindra Marazzo, Kia Carens and Maruti Suzuki Ertiga/XL6. It can also be seen as a body-on-frame diesel-powered alternative to the Toyota Innova Crysta and Maruti Suzuki Invicto.
