After opening bookings in November 2022, Toyota India has now finally announced the prices of the CNG-powered Urban Cruiser Hyryder SUV. It is available in two variants: S and G, and commands a premium of Rs 95,000 over their standard counterparts.

The Toyota Hyryder CNG ranges from Rs 13.23 lakh to Rs 15.29 lakh (ex-showroom). Compared to its Maruti Suzuki equivalent, the Grand Vitara, the Toyota CNG SUV is up to Rs 45,000 more expensive.

At the heart of the green-fueled Toyota Hyryder is the same 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, K-series petrol engine as the regular model, mated to only a 5-speed manual gearbox in its CNG guise. It returns a maximum power output of 88PS and a peak torque of 121.5Nm when fed with natural gas and claims a fuel efficiency of up to 26.1 km/kg.
As for features, the Hyryder CNG is equipped with almost the same set of equipment as their corresponding regular petrol iterations. Key highlights include: –
