Toyota Fortuner, Legender Prices Increased By Up To Rs 1.10 Lakh

Highlights: – 

  • The price hike for facelifted Fortuner ranges from Rs 66,000 to Rs 1.10 lakh, depending on the variant.

  • All the 4×4 and Legender variants get the maximum increment of Rs 1.10 lakh.

  • With the price hike, the Toyota Fortuner now retails from Rs 31.39 lakh to Rs 43.43 lakh (ex-showroom).

Toyota Kirloskar Motors has announced a price hike for the facelifted Fortuner and its premium Legender trim. This is the third price increase for Fortuner since the arrival of its facelift iteration on January 6th, 2021. Here’s a look at its revised variant-wise prices: –

As the above table indicates, the prices of all the standard petrol and 2WD diesel variants of the Fortuner have gone up by Rs 66,000. On the other hand, all the 4WD diesel and Legender trims are now pricier by up to Rs 1.10 lakh. 

Apart from the price hike, no other changes have been made to the full-sized SUV. It will continue to be available engine options: a 2.7-litre petrol (166PS/245Nm) and a 2.8-litre turbo-diesel (204PS/500Nm). Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic, coupled with rear-wheel and four-wheel drivetrains.

As for features, the 2022 Fortuner comes with an all-LED lighting system, alloy wheels (18 to 20-inches), touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, connected car tech, 6 speakers / 11-speaker JBL audio system, automatic climate control, cruise control, auto headlamps and wipers, driving modes, ventilated & powered front seats, up to seven airbags, Active Traction Control (A-TRC), vehicle stability control, hill assist, and ABS with EBD, etc. In addition, the Legender trim also gets a Lexus like the front grille, wireless charging pad, ambient lighting, a 360-degree parking camera, and a kick-to-open function for the powered tailgate.
