December 2021 came out to be a strong month for Maruti Suzuki, accounting for eight positions out of ten. The remaining two spots were taken by Hyundai and Tata.
Nearly all models have performed better in comparison to November 2021. However, the sales went down for the majority of models when compared to the previous year’s sales figures.
No mid-size SUV & sedan made their way to the list.

The monthly sales for December 2021 have fared well, probably due to the lucrative year-end discounts. However, the overall sale was relatively less when compared to the same month last year. And as usual, Maruti Suzuki dominated the chart by bagging eight out of the top 10 sellers. Here’s take a look at the sales figures of the most selling cars and SUVs of December 2021: –

Similar to the previous month, the Maruti WagonR and Swift have kept the top two spots, while the Baleno jumped from sixth to the third position. Apart from Marutis, the Tata Nexon and Hyundai Venue are the only models from their respective lineup that have made their way to the top 10 list in the last month of 2021. Nevertheless, roughly all models registered positive growth over the previous month. However, the YoY performance wasn't good for most of the models. The Tata Nexon has witnessed the highest year-on-year jump among all.
