Tata Tiago Limited Edition Launched At Rs 5.79 lakh

To celebrate the first anniversary of Tiago's facelifted model in the Indian market, Tata Motors has launched its limited-edition at Rs 5.79 Lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). It is important to note that only 2,000 units of Tiago Limited Edition will be available for sale.

Tata Tiago Limited Edition – What's New?

Based on the second-to the base Tiago XT variant (Rs 5.49 lakh), the Limited Edition is Rs 30,000 more expensive. For this premium, it gets some additional features and exclusive 14-inch black finished alloy wheels which distinguish it from the standard model. The features add-ons include a 5-inch touchscreen infotainment system by Harman (similar to the pre-facelift model) and a rear parcel shelf.

Though this infotainment system misses out Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone compatibility, it comes with 3D navigation support through Navimaps, voice command recognition, image/video playback, and parking sensor with display. It also gets FM/AF, USB, and Bluetooth connectivity support.

Besides this, the Tiago Limited Edition retains all the features of regular XT trim. The notable features include manual air condition with heater, 4-speaker sound system, steering mounted audio & telephony controls, tilt adjustment function for steering wheel, power adjustable ORVMs, follow-me-home headlamps, all-four power windows, turn indicators on wing mirrors, remote keyless entry, etc.

The safety, on the other hand, continuous to be taken care of by dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, corner stability control, speed sensing door lock, front seatbelts with pre-tensioner & load limiter, over speed alert, front seatbelt reminders, etc.

Color Options

Tata has offered the Tiago Limited Edition in three monotone color choice : Flame Red, Pearlescent White, and Daytona Grey. Unfortunately, there’s no dual-tone option available.

Engine & Gearbox options

The limited-run Tiago continues to use the same 1.2-litre petrol engine (86PS/113Nm) as the standard trim, coupled with a 5-speed manual transmission. Like the XT trim, it also misses out the AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) option.

In the other news, Tata has recently hiked the prices of all its offerings including Tiago hatchback. Currently, it retails between Rs 4.85 lakh and Rs 6.84 lakh (ex-showroom) and rivals the likes of Hyundai Santro, Datsun Go, and Maruti WagonR.
