With cumulative sales of 35,000 units of the Nexon EV range, Tata Motors has achieved a new milestone for the model. Sharing this achievement on social media, Tata has also taken a jibe at the Mahindra XUV400. In a tweet, Tata Motors posted the number “35,000 > 00” along with the caption, “Need we say more? ” “00” refers to the Mahindra XUV400, which is yet to go on sale.
The Tata Nexon EV is India’s highest-selling electric four-wheeler. It comes in two range options: Prime and Max. The Nexon EV Prime comes with a 129PS single electric motor powered by a 30.2kWh Lithium-ion battery pack that claims an ARAI-tested range of 312km. On the other hand, the Nexon EV Max gets a larger 40.5kWh battery pack that offers an ARAI-claimed range of 437km on a single charge.
