Tata Motors Discontinued Sparkle Cocoa Color Of The Harrier

After revising the color options of Tiago and Nexon, Tata Motors has now discontinued the Harrier's Sparkle Cocoa paint option, which was basically a light brown metallic color that was introduced last year during the BS6 transition.

With this, the Tata Harrier is now available in five exterior shades: Calypso Red, Orcus White, Telesto Grey, Camo Green (Camo Edition), and Atlas Black (Dark Edition). The red and white hues also come with an optional dual-tone finish (features black roof & ORVMs) at a premium of Rs 20,000. While the carmaker hasn't announced a new color for its replacement, it is likely to get Safari's Royal Blue paint scheme.

Besides the discontinuation of Sparkle Cocoa color, no other changes have been made to the SUV. The Tata Harrier will continue to get features like auto headlamps & wipers, an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto smartphone connectivity, a 9-speaker JBL sound system, cruise control, a panoramic sunroof, auto climate control, 6-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, multiple driving & traction modes, up to six airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX anchorages, hill descent control, corner stability control, and more.

Powering the Harrier is an FCA-sourced 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine (170PS/350Nm), which can be had with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. An all-new in-house developed 1.6-liter turbocharged direct-injection (DI) petrol engine is likely to be offered in the near future.
