Tata Harrier Camo Edition – How is it different from the standard model?

What differs the Camo Edition from the standard trims, is its new olive-green paint along with a ‘Camo’ badging on the front fenders. Further, it also gets blacked-out 17-inch alloy wheels, which complements the exterior shade quite well.

The interior of the Camo Edition is similar to the Dark Edition, featuring an all-black interior with grey highlights. However, the upholstery gets Camo Green stitching, whereas the Dark Edition comes with silver stitches.

When it comes to features, the Camo Edition gets all the features of its donor variant. It mainly includes an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, JBL sound system, auto climate control, rear AC vents, semi-digital instrument cluster, power-adjustable driver's seat, a panoramic sunroof, push-button engine start/stop with keyless entry, etc.

Tata is also offering Camo Stealth and Camo Stealth+ accessory packs for the Camo variants, priced at Rs 26,999 and Rs 49,999 respectively.

The Camo Stealth pack offers Camo graphics, a Harrier mascot on the bonnet, roof rails, OMEGARC scuff plates, printed carpets, sunshades, and front parking sensors. On the other hand, the Stealth+ pack also offers side steps, anti-skid dash mats, 3D trunk mats, and a back-seat organizer.

Engine & Gearbox

Under the hood, there are no mechanical changes. The Harrier Camo Edition is powered by the same 2.0-liter diesel engine as the standard and Dark trims, that delivers 170PS of maximum power and 350Nm of peak torque. It can be had with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed torque converter automatic.

Rivals

The Tata Harrier is priced between Rs 13.84 lakh and Rs 20.30 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). In this price range, it rivals the likes of Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, MG Hector, Mahindra XUV500, and Jeep Compass.
