Tata.ev Inaugurated 10 Charging Stations Across Key Highways and Urbanhubs

Tata.ev, India’s leading EV manufacturer, has today inaugurated 10 megachargers across key Indian highways and urban hubs. These chargers are developed in collaboration with Statiq and ChargeZone under the brand’s “Open Collaboration” strategy, to ensure seamless long-distance mobility.

Tata says that these EV chargers are put in areas with high EV density to offer convenience, speed, and comfort for electric vehicle users. TATA.ev had committed to installing 500 TATA.ev MegaChargers across India. Below is the list of 10 installations from the first phase of this effort: –

1. Mumbai – Ahmedabad Highway:

Developed in partnership with ChargeZone, the brand has installed charging stations on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad highway at three strategic locations at a range of 150-200 kilometres. These include: –

  • Shreenath Food Hub, Vadodara – It has the brand’s flagship 400kW DC fast charger that can charge up to six vehicles, adding up to 150 km of range in just 15 minutes.
  • Shanti Complex, Vapi – up to 120 kW
  • Hotel Xpress Inn, Ghodbunder – up to 120 kW

Each of these location have restrooms and restaurants, so that travellers can comfortably take a break, freshen up, grab a meal and continue their journey without any hassel.

2. Delhi – Jaipur Highway

In collaboration with Statiq, Tata.ev has installed four 120 kW fast chargers with dedicated parking bays at key points along the Delhi–Jaipur highway at an interval of 60 km along the 270 km highway.

  • SS Plaza, Sector 47, Gurugram
  • Hotel Old Rao, Kaprivas
  • Asli Pappu Dhaba, Hamzapur
  • Hotel Highway King, Shahpura

3. Pune – Nashik Highway

EV users travelling between Pune and Nashik can access a TATA.ev MegaCharger at Akash Misal House, Rajgurunagar. Located mid-way on the Pune – Nashik Highway, this 120 kW charging station—developed in association with ChargeZone.

4. Bengaluru City

In the heart of Electronic City, Bengaluru, Tata.ev has installed a DC fast charger at Monk Mansion in collaboration with Statiq. This site is tailored for daily commuters and city dwellers. The location is surrounded by 24/7 cafes, restrooms, Wi-Fi, co-working spaces, and retail outlets—enhancing convenience for busy urban EV users.

5. Udaipur City

Located at Ramee Royal Resort, Udaipur, this Tata.ev charging station by ChargeZone offers 120 kW DC fast charging with four dedicated bays. Easily accessible for tourists and locals alike, the spot features cafés, restrooms, Wi-Fi, and lounges, making it a convenient and comfortable EV charging stop.

Elated at introducing the first 10 TATA.ev MegaCharger sites, Balaje Rajan, Chief Strategy Officer, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., and Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd., said, –

The TATA.ev MegaCharger network will increasingly connect all major cities across India to remove charging anxiety. We are on a mission to provide fast, reliable, and effortless charging that enables seamless mobility across the country – and we are just getting started.”
