Tata Cars Get A Price Hike Of Up To Rs 25,000

An increase in input costs has forced Tata Motors to hike the prices of its entire ICE passenger vehicles lineup, comprising Tiago, Tiago NRG, Tigor, Punch, Altroz, Tigor, Nexon, Harrier and Safari. The carmaker has increased the prices of its models by up to 1.2 per cent, depending on the model and variants.

Here’s take a look at the model-wise revised prices of Tata cars: –

  • The Punch micro-SUV is the least affected by the price hike move along all the Tata cars, whereas it’s flagship SUVs, the Harrier and Safari receive the highest price jump of up to Rs 25,000.
  • The Tata Tiago and Tigor duo are now up to Rs 15,000 more expensive.
  • Altorz has also witnessed a price jump of up to Rs 15,000.

In other news, Tata Motors is expected to launch the Red Dark editions of the Harrier and Safari SUVs (showcased at the 2022 Auto Expo) by the end of March this year. The brand will also introduce CNG-powered Altroz and Punch in the first half of the financial year 2023-24.
