Tata Altroz Racer Launch Date Revealed

Shortly after commencing bookings for the Altroz Racer, Tata Motors has now announced its launch date. The forthcoming sportier hatch will be launched on June 7, 2024, as an answer to the Hyundai i20 N-Line.

Here’s what to expect from the Tata Altroz Racer: –

  • The design of the Altroz Racer will be identical to that of the standard Altroz; however, it will get some styling changes to add to its sportier appeal. These will include dual-tone shaded with white racing strips, dual-tip exhaust, and an all-black cabin theme with contrasting elements.
  • Regarding features, the hot-hatch will get plenty of additional features over its regular counterpart, such as leather upholstery with RACER graphics, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment, digital driver’s display, ventilated front seats, 360-degree camera with blind-spot monitoring, and side & curtain airbags.
  • Powering the Altroz Racer will be the Nexon’s 120PS 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. It’s unlikely to get an automatic transmission.
  • The exhaust sound will also be throatier, enhancing its sporty appeal even further.
  • Tata is expected to offer the Altroz Racer in three variants: R1, R2 and R3.
  • Tata is expected to price the Altroz Racer from around Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom). Click here for more details.
