Suzuki Avenis Has Become More Affordable With A New Variant

  • Suzuki Avenis now starts from Rs 86,500 (ex-showroom).
  • The new Standard Edition doesn’t get a Bluetooth-enabled digital console.

Suzuki’s latest scooter in the Indian market, the Avenis 125, has become more affordable with the launch of a new base-spec Standard Edition, priced at Rs 86,500 (ex-showroom). Earlier, the scooter was available in two variants: Race Edition and Ride Connect Edition. Here’s a look at its complete price list: –

Suzuki Avenis Standard Edition – How it is different from other variants?

Compared to the existing variants of the Avenis, the new Standard Edition misses out on Bluetooth connectivity. However, it continues to get the digital instrument cluster, side-stand engine cut-off function, external fuel cap, motorcycle-inspired rear indicators, LED headlamps and taillamps, sporty-looking alloy wheels, and trendy graphics with bold SUZUKI branding on the floorboard for a dynamic and youthful appearance.

Suzuki has offered the Avenis Standard in four dual-tone color schemes: Metallic Matte Fibroin Grey with Metallic Lush Green, Pearl Blaze Orange with Glass Sparkle Black, Metallic Matte Black with Glass Sparkle Black, and Pearl Mirage White with Metallic Matte Fibroin Grey.

Speaking of the mechanicals, the new Avenis Standard uses the same 124cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected mill powered by Suzuki’s SEP Technology that makes out 8.7PS at 6750rpm and 10Nm at 5500rpm. The same engine also powers the Suzuki Burgman Street and the Access 125.

In the 125cc segment, the Suzuki Avenis locks horns with the TVS NTorq 125, Honda Grazia 125, and Yamaha RayZR 125.
