The Suzuki Avenis features a sporty and juvenile design with several creases and panels. It houses an all-LED headlamp on the front apron with air ducts on both sides. Its sharply designed handlebar cowl comes with an integrated fly screen and bulb-type side indicators.

Similar to the front, its side panels also get definite grooves and creases for added sportiness. It gets a stubby muffler that it has borrowed from Burgman Street. On the other hand, its rear takes styling cues from motorcycles, with unique design elements like twin triangular tail lamps along with independent indicators.

In terms of features, the scooter is equipped with a side stand engine cut-off function, silent starter with an engine kill switch, and a fully digital instrument cluster that comes with Bluetooth-based smartphone connectivity features like turn-by-turn navigation, call/SMS alert, over-speed alert, among others. It also gets an external fuel-filler cap, apron-mounted tiny storage box with integrated USB charging port, 21.8-litres of ample underseat storage, and utility hooks on the apron as well as below the seat for added convenience.

Powering the Suzuki Avenis is a 124cc single-cylinder air-cooled motor fuel-injected mill that also does duty for the Burgman Street and the Access 125. Mated to a Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT), this engine churns out 8.7PS at 6750rpm and 10Nm at 5500rpm.

Talking about its underpinnings, it is sprung by a conventional telescopic fork, a single-sided rear shock with swingarm, 12-inch front and 10-inch rear alloy wheels with tubeless tyres. Braking hardware comprises a front disc and a rear drum brake setup, with Combined Braking System (CBS).

Suzuki has offered the standard variant of the Avenis in four colour options – – Metallic Matte Fibroin Grey with Metallic Lush Green, Pearl Blaze Orange with Glass Sparkle Black, Metallic Matte Black with Glass Sparkle Black, and Pearl Mirage White with Metallic Matte Fibroin Grey, whereas its Race Edition variant only gets Metallic Triton Blue shade with Suzuki MotoGP-inspired graphics.
